The optical color sorting machine is a device of automatic sorting out the NG defective material by using the optoelectronic detecting technology according to difference of the optical characteristics of the materials. Optic color sorting machines generally consist of 4 principle systems plus a user interface. Feed System+Inspection System+Signal Processing+Separation System+User interface
Depending on the types of sensors used and the software-driven intelligence of the image processing system, Optic sorters can recognize objects' color, size and shape and are able to compare objects to user-defined accept/reject criteria to identify and remove defective products and foreighn material from the production line, or to separate products of different grades and types of materials.
